Resistance in the Eagle Ford

5/17/2014 — Nordheim TX, DeWitt County in the heart of the Eagle Ford Shale. CAP members installing sign on Hwy. 72 south of Nordheim
Global Climate Convergence activists meet CAP, Nordheim’s resistance coalition fighting the permitting of the “Pyote” company’s two open pit, solid waste processing operations only 1,700 feet from the city limits. (300 people/170 school age children.) Besides the pits, “Pyote” operates several rather nasty fracking disposal wells in the neighborhood.
Their mayor joined the resistance when she caught fracking tankers stealing town water. A CAP meeting then drew 90 of the @130 adult Nordheim residents.
Energycorp-dominated media would have us believe there is no resistance to the frackers in the Eagle Ford. That is a demonstrable falsehood.
