Background: Jill Stein was the Green Party nominee for President during the 2012 elections. Before that, she was a candidate for Governor of Massachusetts in 2002 and 2010. She has consistently advocated for the people, peace and the planet.In this podcast interview, Christina Tobin, Founder and President of Free & Equal, talks with Jill Stein, 2012 Green Party Presidential candidate about ballot access, running as a third party candidate, and the path to peace and prosperity for all.Jill Stein also shares her own story about being forced out of the presidential debates during the 2012 elections. In fact, Jill Stein was arrested for walking onto the campus where the Commission on Presidential Debate was hosting the 2012 debates. As she puts it, she was locked up for threatening to disrupt “the incredibly boring experience of Obama and Romney agreeing with each other.”
