Around the State

Candidate Meghan Owen (35th Cong Dist of Texas)

Serious activists don’t get “liberal money”

When Congressional candidate Meghan Owen picketed the “HRC” scam at Pride, it probably represented little net loss. This outfit that regularly throws bi & trans people under the bus, purportedly in return for crumbs to the other half of the LGBT community, will certainly–natural Democrats as they are–support Lloyd Doggett. But it makes the point: You tell it like it IS, you can forget about funding from “liberal” orgs.

Candidate David B. Collins (US Senate)

David B. Collins of Houston, Green Party candidate for United States Senate, speaks at the Green Party of Texas state convention.

Candidate Ed Lindsay:

Ed Lindsay for US House of Representatives Ed Lindsay of Ft Worth is running as a Green for US House of Representatives District 33

Learn about Ed at: http://www.newmenu.org/lindsay

Ed is a self-starter. He knows how to do the independent politics bit & just goes ahead & does it–whether he’s got other boots on the ground or not. Ed ran for State Comptroller in 2010 & fetched the 5% needed to keep GPTX on the ballot here in 2012. Great respect for Ed–we are all indebted.

Candidate Bill Stout for US House of Representatives District 21 (and co-chair of Travis County Green Party)
